Job Summary:
Provide consultations when needed and high quality of care to all patients in accordance with hospital policy and procedure. Highly trained in modern aspects of medical practice and utilize in the best advantage of Department function at all times and take the responsibilities of leadership with high clinical & administrative skills. The Consultant Obstetrics & Gynaecology is responsible for the care of his patients in accordance with the ethics of the medical profession and the laws and customs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia within his experience and training.
Requirements:
Education and Licensure:

• Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree or its equivalent from a recognized medical school
• High Medical Degree such as (Saudi Board, Arab Board, American Board or Canadian, Fellowship, MRCP, MD, etc.) in a related specialty or its equivalent internationally recognized qualifications
• A valid professional license to practice the specialty in the country of origin and from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
• Current valid certification of Basic Life Support and OBERT or ALSO, or obtaining that within 6 months of commencement of employment

Professional Experience:
Minimum of (3) three years of professional experience in the practice of his specialty after obtaining his medical degree
Specialized Knowledge & Skills:

• Fluent in written and spoken English, fluency in Arabic would be of advantage
• Good general health, able to work extended hours under stress, isolation, and at high altitudes, mobility, near visual acuity, and no uncorrected audio logical problems
• Teaching: To demonstrate skills required for educational training to medical students, and professions
• Research: To demonstrate a proven ability and track record of engagement in research relating to the specialty
