The project:
This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.
Mace is currently providing programme management and looking for high-calibre experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.
The role:
Leading all planning activities across the stadium project as part of the client’s delivery team, requiring engagement with multiple stakeholders, including the client team, designers and contractors. Ideally, the candidate will have stadium and in-region experience, although relevant associated major programme experience will be considered.

- You will use your network to identify talent, lead recruitment, manage the development, retention and mobility of people, and support our people to achieve their highest potential.
- A degree qualification.
- Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant work experience working on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
- Ability to provide subject matter expertise across all aspects of planning, scheduling and project controls.
- An advanced level of skills in industry-standard software packages such as Primavera P6.
- Experience in overseeing the development and improvement of processes and procedures relating to planning, scheduling and project controls.
- Delay and claims management experience under FIDIC contract terms.
- Experience in overseeing the development of compliant contractor programmes, and lead interrogation and analysis of programme performance.
- Supported risk management, including supporting the development of quantitative risk analysis models, interpreting outputs and making recommendations.
- Supported development of 4D models and integration of delivery programmes with software packages such as Synchro or similar.
- Experience in establishing and implementing robust performance measurement techniques such as earned value management (EVM).
- Membership in APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA, or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
- Extensive experience in the successful planning of projects and programmes in the sports/stadium sector.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
- Experience in managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
- Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
