Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Civil Technical Office Engineer to join our project team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for a major Tunnel Construction MEP Fit-Out Project. This role involves managing the technical aspects of civil engineering within the project, from design through to execution, ensuring that all technical office activities align with project specifications and timelines.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and update civil engineering plans, designs, and drawings according to project specifications and requirements.
• Coordinate the integration of civil engineering works with other disciplines such as MEP and structural engineering to ensure cohesive project execution.
• Analyze and interpret civil designs and specifications to provide technical support and guidance to the construction and site teams.
• Manage the submission and approval of all civil documentation, including design modifications, calculations, and project correspondence.
• Conduct feasibility studies and assessments to optimize civil designs, materials, and construction methodologies.
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and consultants to ensure compliance with civil engineering standards and project requirements.
• Assist in resolving any technical issues that arise during the construction process, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and costs.
• Ensure that civil works adhere to quality control procedures, project specifications, and local regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the civil engineering field, with significant exposure to large-scale construction projects.
• Proficiency in civil design software such as Auto CAD, Primavera, and other relevant tools.
• Experience with tunnel construction or infrastructure projects is a strong advantage.
• Previous work experience in Saudi Arabia is essential.
• Candidates available on short notice or immediately will be prioritized for selection.
• Strong understanding of international civil engineering standards, codes, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
