Job Summary:

The Cost Controller is responsible for managing and controlling costs within the hospitality division, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of cost management principles and the ability to analyze financial data to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control all costs related to the hospitality operations, including food and beverage, labor, and operational expenses.
• Prepare and analyze cost reports, budgets, and forecasts to identify trends and variances.
• Implement cost control measures and procedures to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with department heads to provide insights on cost management and advise on budgetary constraints.
• Maintain and update the hospitality ERP system, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews of financial processes and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management on cost performance and recommendations for improvements.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or any Business-related course.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cost Controller in the hospitality industry.
• Proficient in Hospitality ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
• High level of communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Advanced skills in Excel and reporting, including pivot tables and data analysis.
