The Delivery Courier will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of packages to our customers while ensuring the highest level of customer service. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities: ** - Safely operate a delivery vehicle and navigate routes to ensure timely deliveries. - Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling and care. - Deliver packages to customers while maintaining a professional demeanour. - Collect signatures and complete the necessary documentation for each delivery. - Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance issues. - Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations. - Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanour when interacting with customers. - Complete delivery documentation, including signatures and tracking information. - Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents promptly. - Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including sorting, and organising packages.
**Qualifications:** - High school diploma or equivalent. - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. - Previous experience in a courier or delivery role is preferred. - Strong time management and organizational skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Ability to lift packages to (Max piece limit 25 KG. MAX shipment Weight 300 KG) and perform physical tasks. - Familiarity with GPS and navigation tools.
