Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Design Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to lead a talented team on a portfolio of mega infrastructure projects across the Kingdom. Your technical and managerial leadership, along with our expertise, will drive these transformative projects and offer significant opportunities for professional growth.
What You'll Be Doing:

Lead all engineering and design activities across multiple disciplines for assigned projects, ensuring collaboration and synergy among team members.

Review and approve discipline staffing plans, budget estimates, and resource schedules for each project.

Maintain optimal staffing levels, including temporary personnel when necessary, and ensure alignment with project needs through regular staff forecasting.

Monitor and oversee the quality and progress of design work across all disciplines, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.

Collaborate with Project Managers to address and resolve any challenges related to staffing, work quality, schedule adherence, and productivity.

Establish and implement standards, processes, and procedures to enhance discipline performance, recommending improvements where necessary.

Ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets and comply with all relevant regulations and industry practices.

Actively participate in and promote quality improvement initiatives within the department, potentially leading discipline-specific committees.

Fulfill additional responsibilities relevant to the position as required.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, or related fields preferred).
-
15+ years of relevant experience, including leadership roles in large-scale infrastructure projects, with a minimum of 5 years in Saudi Arabia or GCC countries.

Proven experience in managing multidisciplinary design teams for infrastructure projects, ideally in sectors like transportation, utilities, or urban development.

Professional Engineer (PE) registration or equivalent professional certification is preferred.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

In-depth knowledge of local and international engineering practices, standards, and regulations relevant to infrastructure development in Saudi Arabia.

Proficiency in engineering design software and BIM tools, with demonstrated ability to leverage technology to deliver efficient solutions.
