Job Description: Estimator - Fit-Out
Location: Saudi Arabia
Experience: Minimum 2 years in fit-out site surveys and estimation within Saudi Arabia
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator - Fit-Out to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in fit-out projects, including conducting site surveys, preparing accurate cost estimates, and managing project budgets. The candidate must be familiar with the local market in Saudi Arabia and have hands-on experience in fit-out works, materials, and pricing structures.
Key Responsibilities:

• Site Surveys:
• Conduct detailed site surveys to gather measurements, specifications, and project requirements.
• Identify potential challenges or constraints during site visits.
• Cost Estimation:
• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for fit-out projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Develop and maintain cost databases relevant to the Saudi market.
• Tender and BOQ Preparation:
• Create Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and tender documents.
• Review tender submissions and provide recommendations.
• Project Analysis:
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to determine costs and feasibility.
• Provide value engineering solutions to meet budget and design requirements.
• Market Research:
• Source and evaluate vendors, materials, and subcontractors to ensure cost efficiency and quality.
• Stay updated on Saudi Arabia's fit-out industry trends, pricing, and regulations.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with the project management and design teams to align estimates with project goals.
• Liaise with clients to clarify requirements and present cost breakdowns.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in fit-out estimation and site surveys in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of materials, construction methods, and fit-out processes.
• Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (preferred).

Preferred Attributes:

• Familiarity with Saudi building codes and regulations.
• Strong network of suppliers and subcontractors in the region.
• Bilingual skills (Arabic and English) are a plus.
