Infinite sports are seeking dynamic and experienced personnel to join our team in Saudi Arabia.
Infinite Sports is home to top UAE home-grown sports academies including IJF Academy, It’s Just Cricket, Absolute Gymnastics & Absolute Swimming. Infinite Active provides affordable before and after-school care for working parents. Active is currently within 2 schools and catering for 90 children a day with the view to offering this service to further schools. The program currently offers a variety of activities such as physical literacy, creative thinking, and arts & crafts.
Infinite Camps is our holiday program which currently operates within 7 venues and caters for 150 children (agedbetween 4 and 11) a day during the school holidays. The Camps program offers a variety of activities based around multi-sports as well as arts & crafts.
Job Overview
As a Gymnastics Coach at Absolute Gymnastics, you'll develop session plans aligned with company objectives, maintain attendance records, and deliver high-quality coaching sessions. You'll ensure adherence to the USA Gymnastics syllabus, manage equipment, and uphold safety protocols. Additionally, you'll oversee schedules for part-time coaches, collaborate with other departments, and provide support for internal gymnastics programs. This role requires strong leadership, flexibility, and a dedication to coaching excellence.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Session Planning:
Develop comprehensive session plans on a termly basis, tailored to various skill levels, ensuring alignment with company standards and objectives. These plans will encompass skill progression, conditioning exercises, and routine development, maximizing the growth and potential of every gymnast.
2.Attendance Management:
Maintain up-to-date attendance records and logs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in recording the attendance of athletes. Your meticulous approach will facilitate effective monitoring of athlete participation and progress, contributing to the overall success of our programs.
3. Coaching Delivery:
Engage with the latest updates and methodologies outlined in the USA Gymnastics syllabus, integrating them seamlessly into our training programs for squad gymnasts. Your dedication to staying informed will ensure that our athletes receive top-notch coaching aligned with national standards, maximizing their potential and success in the sport.
4. Curriculum Implementation:
In your role as a Gymnastics Coach at Absolute Gymnastics, staying abreast of the evolving USA Gymnastics syllabus is crucial. By incorporating the latest techniques and standards into our training regimen for squad gymnasts, you ensure their readiness and competitiveness on both national and international stages.
5. Equipment Management:
You'll oversee the seamless set-up and pack-away of equipment at venues, prioritizing safety, and efficiency. Your meticulous attention to detail ensures a safe and organized environment for gymnasts to train, optimizing their performance and minimizing risks.
6. Punctuality:
Your commitment to punctuality is paramount, ensuring the smooth running of coaching sessions and events. Your reliable presence sets a positive example for athletes, fostering discipline and maximizing training opportunities.
7. Safety and First Aid:
Rigorously uphold child safeguarding protocols, prioritizing the safety and well-being of all participants. Your quick and effective administration of first aid, when necessary, ensures a secure and supportive environment for athletes to thrive in.
8. Staff Management:
Oversee schedules for part-time and assistant coaches, guaranteeing comprehensive coverage and assistance. Your efficient management ensures seamless coordination, enabling a supportive and cohesive coaching team environment.
9.Financial Accountability:
Work proactively towards meeting financial targets set for assigned venues while also playing a pivotal role in client retention efforts. Your strategic approach ensures the financial health of the organization and fosters long-term relationships with our valued clients.
10. Client Communication:
Cultivate enduring client relationships by providing consistent updates on upcoming events and programs. Your proactive communication fosters trust and engagement, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
11. Competition Support:
Play a pivotal role in coordinating and executing in-house competitions biannually, fostering a sense of achievement and camaraderie among athletes. Additionally, you'll provide invaluable support to students during external competitions, ensuring they feel confident and prepared to showcase their skills on a broader stage.
12. Interdepartmental Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with other departments, including Infinite Camps, to enhance the overall gymnastics program experience. Your support extends to schools hosting internal gymnastics programs and events, ensuring seamless coordination and successful execution, enriching the educational experience for all participants.
13. Reporting: Gymnastics Coach isresponsible to report to Academy Manager– Infinite Sports LLC/ Absolute Sports LLC.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum British Gymnastics Level 2 or equivalent coaching qualification.
At least 3 years of coaching experience.
Valid driver's license.
Safeguarding certificate.
First aid qualification.
Police clearance check.
Skills and Certifications:
Strong administrative and customer service skills.
Ability to conduct productive gymnastics sessions and effectively improve children's abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manage part-time coaches and assistant coaches.
Programs Offered:
Responsible for coaching recreational, intermediate, advanced, and competitive gymnastics within their discipline (rhythmic or artistic).
Performance Evaluation:
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) will be outlined and measured termly.
Venue checks will be performed by the management team, with feedback provided.
Additional Information:
This position requires flexibility, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to excellence in coaching and client service.
Working Hours:
48 Hours across 6 days per week.
