General Manager - KSA National

Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)
Reports to: COO / CEO
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations of all restaurant outlets in KSA, ensuring both dining and quick service restaurants (QSR) run efficiently.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s overall business goals and enhance performance.
- Ensure all restaurants adhere to company standards regarding quality, service, cleanliness, and profitability.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure the smooth integration of activities and achieving organizational goals.
- Oversee the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for the KSA operations, ensuring profitability and cost control.
- Monitor and report on financial performance, including sales, cost control, and profitability.
- Identify opportunities to improve revenue streams and minimize operational costs.
- Analyze operational data and KPIs to make informed decisions that align with business objectives.
- Lead financial forecasting, analysis, and planning to ensure the financial health of the KSA operations.
- Staff Leadership & Development:
- Lead and manage a team of restaurant managers and operational teams across multiple locations.
- Set performance targets and KPIs for the team, ensuring continuous improvement and growth.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and mentorship to staff.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and staff development to maintain high service standards.
- Foster a positive work environment, ensuring employee satisfaction and retention.
- Customer Experience:
- Ensure excellent customer service across all outlets, consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
- Develop and implement customer service strategies that reflect brand values and culture.
- Business Development & Strategy:
- Drive the expansion and growth of the business in KSA by identifying new opportunities for restaurant openings, partnerships, and collaborations.
- Analyze market trends and customer preferences to adjust business strategies accordingly.
- Implement marketing and promotional activities in coordination with the marketing team to increase brand awareness and sales.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, including health, safety, and labor laws in KSA.
- Maintain operational standards in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential operational risks.
- Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare regular reports on operational performance for senior management.
- Communicate key operational updates and changes to the team and other stakeholders.
- Ensure open lines of communication between departments to foster collaboration and transparency.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in restaurant management, with at least 5 years managing operations across multiple locations.
- Strong experience in both full-service dining and quick-service restaurant (QSR).
- Proven track record in managing restaurant operations in the GCC, particularly in KSA and/or UAE.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree is an advantage.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and improve profitability.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of local laws and regulations related to the F&B industry in KSA.
- Language: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive growth and operational excellence.
- Highly organized, with attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
- Adaptable to the dynamic restaurant market in KSA and capable of leading in a fast-paced environment.
