Head of Fixed Assets Maintenance (f/m/d)

We are seeking a Head of Fixed Assets Maintenance as part of DB Engineering & Consulting Gmb H, KSA Branch. The job opening is located in Saudi Arabia, and offers exciting challenges and potential for career growth.

Responsibilities:
- Control the contractors’ fixed assets maintenance and inspection activities including network infrastructure such as tracks and structures, and maintenance of stations as well as buildings in compliance with work plans
- Develop and execute knowledge transfer for all fixed assets maintenance related disciplines
- Manage and maintain all physical assets, such as tracks, bridges, stations, and other infrastructure components.
- Overseeing asset lifespan, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and making plans for replacements or upgrades.
- Develop and implement asset management strategies to ensure longevity and reliability.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify maintenance needs and potential risks.
- Plan and execute maintenance, repair, and replacement projects for fixed assets.
- Monitor compliance with safety standards and regulations for all fixed assets.
- Collaborate with the maintenance and infrastructure teams to optimize asset performance.
- Coordinate with external contractors and engineers for specialized asset maintenance projects.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and reports related to fixed asset management.
- Control the contractors’ fixed assets maintenance quality in compliance with KPIs
Qualifications:
- Project management skills
- Railway fixed assets maintenance background is mandatory
- A Bachelor of Science academic degree in Engineering is preferred
- A minimum of 10 years experience in rail industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position is preferred
- A minimum of 10 years experience in a similar position
- International experience, preferably GCC is required
- DB background is preferred
- Fluency in english is mandatory, knowledge of Arabic and German would be an added advantage
- Knowledge of MS office, MS Project, MS Sharepoint, IBM Maximo or similar tools is mandatory
- Should be willing to sign a local contract with the KSA branch
