Posted Salary Range: USD $74,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 /Yr.
Gov CIO is currently hiring for an Instructor qualified Network Administrator or System Engineer to instruct the RSNF GCCS - J System Administrator Course and various Communications Equipment Courses associated with the GCCS -J Suite. This position will be located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and will be an onsite position.
Responsibilities:
Instructs RSNF students in System Administration courseware supporting the GCCS - J Suite. Collaborates with and gathers course material from subject matter experts. Conducts analysis of program requirements and determines a strategic solution. Converts written materials and course content into instruction for training RSNF students. Provides a user-friendly interface for content contributors and end-users. Maintains existing courseware in alignment with objectives. Keeps abreast of training and development research: adult learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques. May evaluate students while administering training courseware.
Must be able to collaborate with PM, Lead ISD, subject matter experts, and/or multimedia specialists.
- Creates criteria for determining course effectiveness and makes improvements.
- Selects or develops teaching aids such as demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.
- May evaluate end-users to determine technological literacy, learning capacity, and teaching methodology.
- Develops flowcharts and storyboards based on course materials
- Must be knowledgeable and capable of operating various computer-based training systems including distance learning and long range facilitated group discussions.
- May be responsible for producing quick reference guides.
Required Skills and Experience
- Clearance Required: US Secret
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field from an accredited college or university, OR Certification as a Military Instructor with consequent code for classification (NEC 9502, Basic Airforce Instructor Course, Basic Army Instructor Course, etc..)
- Must be intimately familiar with IT System Administration, Server Administration, Network Administration
- Must have 5+ years of experience in military or industrial training positions that require application of technical knowledge in the IT field
- Must be able to reside in austere conditions with extreme temperatures and dry conditions
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and travel up and down ladders in an industrial environment
Preferred Skills and Experience

Adult Learning Principles and the ability to interact with the RSNF Trainees

Comp TIA Security, Comp TIA Server qualifications

Familiarity with Red Hat Client software
- Familiarity with Military Command and Control Systems
- Familiarity with Military Communications Systems
