Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Materials Engineer to join our team and oversee the selection, testing, and management of materials for large-scale water infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of materials science and engineering, with a proven track record in the water and power sectors.
Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate, select, and approve materials to ensure they meet project specifications and industry standards.
Collaborate with procurement teams to source high-quality materials at competitive prices.
Conduct material inspections, tests, and quality assessments to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely material delivery and proper usage.
Monitor inventory levels and manage material supply to ensure project timelines are met.
Prepare detailed reports on material performance, quality control measures, and project outcomes.
Resolve technical issues related to material quality and specifications during construction phases.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Materials, Civil, Mechanical, or related field).
Minimum of 12 years of experience in materials engineering, preferably in the water infrastructure or power sectors.
Strong understanding of materials science, testing procedures, and industry standards.
Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working on large-scale water transmission, treatment, or distribution projects.
Certifications in Quality Management or Materials Testing (e.g., ISO certifications).
Knowledge of environmental regulations related to material selection and disposal.
