About Our Client: We are urgently hiring for our client, a leading firm in the civil engineering sector, to find an Experienced Engineering Road Designing professional for a major road construction project. We are looking for someone with experience working in the United States.
Position Overview: The ideal candidate will have a robust background in roads engineering with at least 10 years of experience, specifically with projects completed in the U.S. market. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with design teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed drawings in coordination with design engineers, project managers, and clients.
- Review and provide comments on consultation documents forwarded by clients.
- Conduct design standard checks as instructed by the project manager.
- Modify layout drawings and full sets of drawings as needed to meet client demands.
- Design and update road networks, including junctions, flyovers, and carriageways.
- Develop road cross-sections and utility corridor arrangements when requested.
- Coordinate and prepare minutes for meetings as necessary.
- Contribute to the preparation and modification of design-related reports.
- Prepare land interest, land acquisition, and land reference plans, adhering to local Road Design Manual guidelines.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in roads design projects, with prior work in the United States.
- Proven experience with design standards and methodologies relevant to road construction.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
