JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Retail and Visual Coordinator is responsible for bridging the corporate headquarters with retail operations, ensuring smooth communication and alignment. As the brand ambassador, he/she embodies and advocates the company's values. Additionally, he/she achieves the brand's objectives and creating compelling visual experiences across all stores and regions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate and reinforce weekly directives regarding new products (collections and capsules) and updates to visual merchandising layouts. This includes module cuvettes, tables, signage, product descriptions, price label updates, visual assets, audio, videos, and window displays.
- Procure seasonal visual merchandising elements, which may include non-sellable items like shopping bags, and replacing current displays with appropriate ones as needed.
- Translate visual merchandising and trade marketing documents into local languages, tailoring them to meet specific regional needs and preferences.
- Arrange displays strategically to optimize attraction, enhance the visibility of slow-moving products, and drive sales.
- Oversee in-store trade marketing initiatives, including promotions, seasonal mark-downs, and events, to effectively engage customers and boost sales.
- Ensure strict adherence to the commercial activities calendar, effectively monitoring and managing various deadlines.
- Communicate calendar plan with brand managers, marketing managers, commercial leads and suppliers.
- Coordinate the consolidation and distribution of monthly store presentation reports, ensuring alignment across stores.
- Supervise logistics pertaining to product launches and replenishments, collaborating closely with merchandise planners and regional logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with the retail team to facilitate store inventories, offering assistance during store openings, retro-planning, and merchandising phases.
- Engage in product performance analysis and compile reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Manage the allocated budget by optimizing and minimizing costs where possible, reporting variances, and generating price labels based on store merchandising layout.
- Ensure stores are compliance with all brand standards, corporate policies, and local laws.
- Manage relationships with third-party suppliers, conducting price comparisons and soliciting quotations for the scope of work. Facilitate communication between suppliers and the retail team by conveying inquiries and feedback from one party to the other.
- Anticipate out-of-stock risk in collaboration with the merchandise planner and adapt the display to maximize near to expiry items liquidation.
- Manage display adjustments to provide out-of-stock (OOS) alternatives, ensuring that customers have suitable options even when specific products are unavailable.
- Train, motivate, and evaluate the team to ensure necessary skill base is met. Support retail team in organizing storage area to facilitate easy identification of stock on hand (SOH) and product expiry, enhancing efficiency and minimizing wastage.
Qualifications
LANGUAGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS
Language Proficiency
- Fluency in English.
- Fluency in Arabic is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE
Four to six years of experience in a similar role.
