Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our firm’s operations in Singapore, driving our expansion and growth across the Southeast Asia region. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the steel industry, strong business acumen, and extensive experience in strategic consulting and leadership. They will be responsible for setting the firm’s overall strategy, cultivating high-level client relationships, and overseeing operations to ensure sustained growth and market leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Vision and Execution : Develop and implement a growth-focused strategy for market expansion in Southeast Asia, including market analysis, opportunity assessment, and business development initiatives.
• Client and Stakeholder Relations : Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, industry partners, government agencies, and regulatory bodies across Southeast Asia.
• Leadership and Team Development : Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team of consultants, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and client excellence.
• Financial Management : Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to ensure financial health and profitability; set financial goals aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
• Market Intelligence and Industry Knowledge : Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies; translate market insights into actionable business strategies.
• Operational Excellence : Drive operational efficiency and scalability across all consulting projects and ensure the quality of services delivered aligns with client expectations.
• Sustainability and Compliance : Advocate for sustainable business practices, ensure compliance with industry standards, and uphold ethical practices within the firm and in engagements with clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the steel industry, consulting, or a related field, with a focus on business development, strategy, or operations.
• Proven track record in executive leadership roles, with experience in managing P&L, developing market strategies, and leading organizational change.
• Strong knowledge of the Southeast Asia market, industry regulations, and cultural awareness.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to drive growth, achieve targets, and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
