About the role

As we continue to grow, we seek an exceptional professional to join the Business Development Team. This role involves building strategic partnerships and contributing to the overall growth of the firm while supporting Grasshopper Asset Management, an entity regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the financial markets, trading strategies, and technology.
As a key member of the Business Development Team, you'll:
Drive Grasshopper’s growth as an Asian Market Maker
Develop and maintain relationships both within and outside the organisation to successfully execute complex projects and drive substantial revenue growth
Develop a deep understanding of Grasshopper’s business and operations
Work with internal teams, including trading, technology and middle office to ensure end-to-end project execution
Coordinate internal projects, requests, and communication, managing accounts where necessary
Ad hoc projects as required
At least 5 years of experience in Financial Markets
Proven track record of successfully overseeing and completing multiple complex projects simultaneously
Strong communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain rapport with industry professionals
Excellent reasoning ability and strong mathematical aptitude
An understanding of the HFT industry, particularly its market dynamics, technology and trends preferred but not required
