Data Center Technician

- Support the deployment of physical infrastructure within the data center.
- Install, replace, and troubleshoot cables and hardware.
- Handle data-bearing devices (e.g., hard drives, solid-state drives).
- Operate within a ticket-based support environment.
- Move equipment using pallet jacks or other assisted lifting devices.
- Assist the Data Centre Inventory and Asset Management Team (DIAT) with shipping, receiving, and inventory management, especially during high-volume periods.
- Flexibility to work non-standard business hours, including weekends and holidays.
Education / Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in IT Support & Monitoring (Fresh graduates with a positive attitude are welcome to apply).
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and components.
- At least 6 months of experience handling or maintaining technical equipment or machinery.
- 1+ years of experience supporting IT equipment or related technologies.
- Relevant certifications such as Comp TIA A+, Server+, or Network+, and Basic Structure Cabling (BSC) are a plus.
- Ability to support frequent standing, walking, lifting, and working at heights, with or without equipment assistance.
- Effective communication skills.
- Proficiency in written and oral English to support regional and global teams.
- A strong desire to learn, grow, and develop new technical skills.
