Job Overview:
The Dealer is responsible for executing buy and sell orders in securities such as stocks, bonds, and other financial instruments on behalf of clients. The role involves analysing market trends, providing investment advice, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The Dealer plays a critical role in facilitating trading activities and helping clients achieve their investment objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

• Trade Execution: Execute buy and sell orders for securities in a timely and efficient manner.

• Market Analysis: Monitor and analyse market trends, economic indicators, and financial news to make informed trading decisions.

• Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their investment goals and provide advice on trading strategies.

• Risk Management: Assess and manage the risks associated with trading activities, ensuring that all trades comply with internal and regulatory guidelines.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all trading activities adhere to relevant laws and regulations, including those set by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and other regulatory bodies.

• Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on trading activities, market conditions, and client portfolios.

• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other financial institutions.

• Technical Skills: Utilize trading platforms and software to execute trades and manage portfolios.

• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on market developments, new financial products, and changes in regulations.

• Pricing and Quotation: Source and obtain pricing/quotations for structured products from various issuers daily to ensure competitive offerings for clients.

• Trade Execution: Execute structured products trades accurately and timely, including order taking from clients through email/call log, order booking into the system and placing trades with counterparties.

• Pricing List Compilation and Maintenance: Compile, update, maintain and monitor comprehensive pricing lists for wealth clients, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date for informed decision-making.

• Other tasks: Assist and guide wealth clients throughout the onboarding process, ensuring all necessary documentation and compliance requirements are met, and providing a seamless experience for new clients.
  

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.

• Experience: 2 years of experience as a Securities Dealer, Trader, or in a similar role.

• Licensing: Relevant CMFAS licenses

• Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial markets, securities trading, and investment strategies.
