Director - FI Advisory

- Lead origination efforts across various sectors and countries in Asia
- Maintain and establish relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Identify potential transaction opportunities
- Lead originating and marketing of corporate finance mandates
- Closely liaise and work together with other ING teams and departments to optimally service clients and source opportunities
- Review and supervise documents and presentations prepared by team members
- Act as deal lead on all aspects of transaction execution
- Supervise and lead project teams in relation to corporate finance transactions
- Project management and process control
- Review and draft required documents such as bid letters, information memorandum, among other transaction documents, where applicable
- Review documentation including marketing materials, transaction agreements, and public documents
- Review and challenge all relevant valuation analyses prepared by the project team
- Act as key point of contact during transaction execution and liaise with relevant authorities and other professionals
- Quality control. Review all work performed by the project team and obtain requisite internal sign-offs
- Assist in the training and development of junior colleagues
- Cross-sell and promote other products / services of the bank, as appropriate, to customers
