About the Role

This role is key to the Institutional business with coverage of customers from Financial Institutions Group ("FIG"). The role requires a strong technical skill set, with a deep understanding of financial products and their particular relevance to Non-Bank Financial Institutions (“NBFI”) customers. The ideal candidate will excel in business origination, and development, driving innovative solutions and expanding our market presence. Proven expertise in relationship management is essential, as this role involves cultivating and managing relationships with key NBFI customers, ensuring long-term success and growth in this dynamic sector.

What will your day look like?

As a Director, Financial Institutions Group, you will:
Maximise business profitability from customers in the NBFI segment, a growth area within FIG.
Contribute to the Institutional business through the execution of the FIG Singapore strategy.
Grow portfolio profitability through business development, relationship management, deal origination and execution.
Develop and maintain internal relationships with key stakeholders including product partners, FIG team counterparts around the globe as the segment continues to deliver an efficient global account coverage program, as well as Credit partners.
Run a well-managed portfolio including ensuring no overdue credit files, passing all internal audit requirements, and ensuring timely and effective KYC is completed.
What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

Experience working in banking specifically in covering the NBFI segment.
Deep understanding of NBFI customer profiles, including their financial behaviours, challenges and opportunities.
Demonstrated track record of business development, strategic planning, and execution with NBFI customers.
In-depth knowledge of transaction banking, lending, financial products and structuring solutions relevant to NBFI customers.
Demonstrated competence in global account management and internal well-managed processes.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with customers at a senior level.
Team player with a collaborative mindset.
Tertiary / post graduate qualification Business Management or Finance is preferred.
