We are seeking a reliable and experienced driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving between Singapore and Malaysia, as well as traveling to various locations within Singapore and Malaysia. The role involves ensuring the safe and timely transportation of staff while maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive between Singapore and Malaysia, ensuring safe and timely arrival at various destinations.
- Transport staff and at times small equipment, ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, well-maintained, and safe vehicle.
- Send the vehicle for inspection, servicing, etc.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations in both Singapore and Malaysia.
- Report any vehicle issues or accidents immediately and manage them in line with company protocols.
- Ensure the vehicle is fueled, cleaned, and ready for daily use.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance, such as checking tire pressure, oil levels, and other routine checks.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of small equipment, if necessary.
- Adhere to official working hours, with the possibility of overtime (OT) if working beyond standard hours including weekends.
- Able to travel between Singapore and Malaysia as and when needed. Accommodation will be provided by the company during travel to Malaysia.
- Complete any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
- Singapore Driving License (Essential)
- Proven experience as a driver, preferably with cross-border driving experience (Singapore to Malaysia).
- Familiarity with the road routes and traffic regulations in both Singapore and Malaysia.
- Strong knowledge of safe driving practices.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and follow instructions closely.
- Punctual, reliable, and responsible.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Must be flexible with working hours and available to work overtime when needed.
- Ability to keep track of all receipts incurred not limiting to top up fuel, car maintenance etc.
