Position: Freelance School Portrait Photographer
Location: Various schools in Singapore
Type/hours: Part-Time seasonal work during school term times
Wage: $20-$50 p/hr depending on experience
About Us: Vision Photography is a schools portrait company that visits large schools in Singapore to take their annual school photos of each individual student and class group photos which are taken Mon-Fri. In addition, we offer sibling shoots after school and family shoots at weekends. Photos are taken on traditional white background studios, and we usually have a team of between 2-5 photographer/studios working at each school. Each project ranges from 2 days up to two weeks.
Who we are looking for: We are expanding our team and looking for a friendly, confident and fun individual that has experience taking photographs of children of all ages and/or a family photography background. The type of photography is fast pace and high volume but is quite simple. The most important attribute we are looking for in a candidate is a fun personality in order to make the students laugh and smile during their shoots. This role would be best suited to a person that is already working as a freelance photographer and wants to add to their workload.
Requirements:

• Proven experience in photographing children and/or families.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• A portfolio showcasing previous work in school and family photography.
• Flexibility to work part-time (during school term times) and accommodate various scheduling needs.
• A background in studio lighting and equipment (Not essential but preferrable).

Key Responsibilities:

• On-site photography sessions at schools, capturing individual student portraits and class photos.
• Create a fun and relaxed atmosphere for subjects, especially children.
• Help set up and manage studios.
