In an increasingly competitive context, the ambition is very strong for Suez Digital Solutions: to establish the group's global leadership in the Water sector and to accelerate in the Waste activity, and to double the Group's turnover in digital activities by 2027.


Digital solutions is organized around 3 large families of solutions (solution lines), in charge of product publishing and an operations department, in charge of the deployment and operation of customer projects in the different regions.


The 3 solution lines are :

• Smart Metering & Smart Cities (> 6 million connected meters deployed worldwide)
• Water Operations & Assets solutions (software solutions for global management of the water cycle and management of investments in infrastructure in water and waste, > 1500 platforms deployed)
• R&R Solutions & Customer Portals (digital solutions to optimize waste management, from collection to the different recovery sectors)

The operations division is made up of a central team, mainly based in France, and departments based in strategic countries/regions for the development of Digital Solutions, namely, to date: France, UK, Italy, North America, Australia / New Zealand and Asia.


THE MISSION


Within this organization, the Head of Digital Solutions Asia is accountable for the P&L of Digital Solutions in Asia, and in particular has the following responsibilities:

• Propose and lead the commercial strategy to achieve the expected growth, and in particular establish fruitful commercial partnerships as well as close relationships with SUEZ’ internal Asia BU sales resources
• Increase the visibility of Digital Solutions in the region and the presence in the Smart Water and Smart Waste ecosystems
• Lead Proposal and Pre-Sales teams with good success rate to tenders, conduct analysis in case of failure to improve
• Identify product localization or improvement needs and conduct a structured exchange with Solution Lines
• Lead Delivery teams, ensuring customer satisfaction as well as cost and delay control

The Head of Digital Solutions Asia directly reports to the Managing Director for South East Asia, and the position is based in Singapore. The scope of the mission includes all of Asia to the exception of mainland China.
The Head of Digital Solutions Asia is also reporting to the COO of Digital Solutions.


Experience:


Required

• At least 10 years of experience in managing Smart Water projects
• At least 5 years of experience in managing delivery or sales teams
• At least 5 years of experience in Proposal
• Knowledge of Smart Water solutions

Plus:

• Prior experience in managing projects in Asia
• Prior experience in managing Water Smart Metering deployments
• Prior operational experience in water networks or plants
• Knowledge of Smart Waste solutions

Education

• BS or MS in Engineering, Science
