Exxon Mobil in Singapore


Exxon Mobil is one of Singapore’s largest foreign manufacturing investors with over S$25 billion in fixed asset investments.

We have manufacturing facilities that include an integrated world-scale refining and petrochemical complex in Jurong and Jurong Island, a network of service stations under the Esso brand, operate a lubricant plant and are a supplier of cylinder cooking gas. Exxon Mobil provides customers and commercial markets in the region with ground transportation, industrial, aviation and marine fuels, lubricants, petrochemicals and liquefied natural gas (LNG).

As Singapore serves as the AP hub for some of our businesses, we employ about 3,500 people across positions in operations, projects, commercial, corporate support functions and others.

What you will do

• Provide engineering expertise support to the Singapore Manufacturing Complex (SCP and Refinery) for safe and reliable operations.
• The work includes engineering assessments, engineering design, trouble-shooting and root cause failure analysis, long term equipment improvement initiatives and providing engineering solutions to issues in specific field
• Provide engineering expertise support for project managed in the Singapore Manufacturing Complex (SCP and Refinery)
• Provide support for maintenance work
• Key contact for their area of expertise
• Provide technical training as required in the area of expertise

About you

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Sound engineering knowledge in the respective engineering field
• Experienced in equipment engineering specifications and standards
• Familiar with industrial standards, local codes and Exxon Mobil practices
• An effective team player with good communication & interpersonal skills
