Manufacturing Technician

Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate assigned processing and/or packaging equipment according to the SOP, guides and manual
- Render correct cleaning and sanitation of processing equipment following Good Manufacturing practices
- Conduct checking and inspection of materials to ensure it meets specifications for processing and production of salts and dry part concentrates
- Prepare raw materials according to the plan and quality specifications
- Move raw materials and batch concentrate from staging area to processing area. This may require driving forktrucks and/or motorized and manual pallet stacker
- Perform product and packaged change over
- Perform SAP applications for transacting process order, good receipt and inventory
- Operate the system manually or with the aid of basic process automation
- Follow safe operation of dust collection system along with other Safety precautions and Safety criteria
- Perform Basic Equipment Care, troubleshooting and maintenance of the assigned machine to minimize inefficiency
- Perform 5S, routine cleaning for responsible areas
- Practice and adhere to current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), OE Eight (8) wastes and Continuous improvement (Kaizen) culture
- Perform Visual Management Board update, recording and documentation and maintenance of necessary operational records
- Ensure compliance with the Health and Safety Site System and ensure that a high standard of Health and Safety is always adhered to on site
- Any other ad Hoc duties and projects as assigned
- Understanding of English Language, both written & spoken
- Ability to communicate effectively with all team members
- NITEC Certification or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 3 years of technical experience in F&B industry would be preferred
- Basic working knowledge in the production operations
