Operations Assistant (Driver)

Reporting to the Operations Director, we are seeking for an Operations Assistant for:
- Running of banking errands.
- Collection and delivery of good, documents, cheques and cash to office premises, shipyards, onboard vessel and other location within Singapore.
- Ensure proper and safe handling of goods, cash, cheques and documents due dilgence.
- To be responsible for general maintenance and cleanliness of vehicles under your care.
- To arrange for the vehicles regular servicing and repair when necessary.
- To observe all traffic rules and regulations (you shall be fully responsible for any traffic offence and penalty incurred) and observe road safety. To perform logistics duties when required, such as stock take and other light duties.
Requirements
- Possess a valid Singapore driving license (Class 3) with a clean driving record.
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate vehicles, including vans or trucks, in various weather and traffic conditions.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Meticulous, dependable and trustworthy
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of resolving unexpected challenges or issues that may arise during errands or deliveries.
- Good physical health and stamina to handle the demands of driving and carrying out delivery tasks efficiently.
- Strong awareness of safety protocols and procedures to ensure personal safety and the safety of others while on the road and during delivery tasks.
- Knowledge of Singapore's roads, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns to navigate efficiently and minimize delivery time.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and basic troubleshooting.
- Flexible and adaptable to changes in delivery schedules, traffic conditions, or additional tasks as required.
- Courteous and professional demeanor when interacting with clients or representatives during delivery and collection tasks.
