- Manage full shipping documentations of containerized shipments under LC and Collections terms.
- Execute all contractual obligations timely, anticipate potential shipment problems and initiate actions to resolve, avoid or mitigate exposures.
- Liaise closely with internal (Treasury/Accounts/Commercial/Intercos) and external (buyers/agents/suppliers/carriers/controllers/banks) parties to facilitate various processes throughout execution chain.
- Work expeditiously to cash sales documents timely and avoid demurrage, manage exposures, reduce financing and bank charges.
- Ensure all AP/AR are processed timely in trade system for every month-end closing.
- Follow-up on buyers' payments for company’s healthy cash-flow. Other trade support duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in any field (good experience in shipping/commodity trading firms will be considered in lieu)
- Minimum 3 years working in commodity trading operations handling shipping documentations
- Experience in LC documentations a must
- Experience in dry containerized cargo is an advantage
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Computer literacy in MS Excel/Word
- Ability to work under pressure
