discovermarket asia Pte. Ltd. is part of Switzerland based discoveric group, operating under the name discovermarket. Discovermarket is a digital marketplace revolutionizing insurance distribution through our innovative open insurance platform.
We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Manager APAC to join our team in Singapore, reporting to the Regional Commercial Head ASEAN of discovermarket. Your primary responsibilities will lie in developing a strong pipeline of ecosystem partners and to delivering commercially successful B2B partnerships in line with our business targets.
About discovermarket:
discovermarket - Distribute Connect Protect - is an innovative and unique digital embedded insurance marketplace connecting insurers, distribution partners and service providers, and creating a global ecosystem around protection needs.
We enable our ecosystem partners to deliver embedded insurance that fits their customers’ needs and is embedded directly into their core product offering. Our distribution partners include customer facing ecosystems in the telecommunications, hospitality and agricultural verticals. These ecosystem partners access innovative, customer-centric propositions on our platform via our API hub and embed them in their core products and customer journeys. The critical elements of these propositions, including insurance capacity, are delivered by the insurers, reinsurers and prevention partners also on the discovermarket marketplace.
Working hand in hand with the local sales lead and the insurance stakeholders, the successful Project & Client Delivery Manager Indonesia will have end to end responsibility for Discovermarket partner delivery projects. These projects are designed to disrupt the traditional insurance industry by integrating the ecosystem (enterprise) partners and insurance providers on the Discovermarket platform, thereby offering customers digitally embedded insurance in complement to the product and solutions offerings of Enterprise Customers such as telcos, e-commerce, banks.
The Project & Client Delivery Manager Indonesia is part of the CCO team and reports to the Ecosystem Marketplace Lead, who has portfolio ownership of the partner delivery pipeline.

Roles and Responsibilities
- E2E delivery responsibility for partner onboardings
- Work in close collaboration with Sales Lead (relationship with the brand/ecosystem partners) and Proposition Manager (relationship with brokers & insurers)
- Ensure the project scope is mapped with clear deadlines and deliverables
- Manage key internal and external stakeholders and present progress reports in project steering committee, as well as client meetings
- Build out project risk register, identify key risks and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage outcomes and deadlines using resources within the project team
- Deliver projects end to end, including functional areas such as,
o Insurance product design and pricing
o Operations
o IT and Systems
o Management reporting and updates
o Timely risk escalations and remediations
Requirements
- University degree holder
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience. Proven track record of successfully delivering projects.
- Indonesian focus: Having worked and/or lived in Indonesia, intimately familiar with Indonesian cultural customs.
- Willingness to travel, and spend significant time in other SEA countries, particularly Indonesia.
- The project language is English, but knowledge of relevant local language(s) is a significant plus.
- Strong ability to structure complex problems in a fast pace, constantly evolving start-up environment. Able to lead a delocalized, international internal and external project team in relentlessly executing client deliveries.
- Strong ability to think holistically, identify blind spots and define their potential solution(s) in a cross functional team.
- Strong preference for Insurance and technology experience
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership
- Strong ability to actively engage and build relationships across the business with multiple stakeholder groups
- Experience in IT project management. Familiarity with different development methodologies including agile, API documentation and API end-point exposure.
