The Recruiter is also responsible for attracting passive talent into Subsea7 and Seaway7 with a clear focus on under-represented groups for our global offshore workforce. This role is responsible for engagement of external talent and building a robust talent pipeline to support business goals.
What will you be doing?
- Proactively works with relevant skill pools to establish current and anticipated resourcing requirements and advise on appropriate solutions.
- Write advertisements and post positions through appropriate mediums, including company website, job boards and established networks.
- Screening of applicants against job requirements and conduct competency-based interviewing where applicable.
- Negotiates and advise candidates on their individual terms and conditions of employment.
- Takes responsibility for ensuring that recruitment system is updated regularly and that workflow activities associated with the recruitment process are actioned in a timely manner.
- Builds and maintains effective relationships with relevant departments, stakeholders to ensure recruitment process and selection is seamlessly delivered.
- Acts as an internal consultant advising on resourcing matters and providing challenge and suggestions for improving resourcing effectiveness.
- Ensures that recruitment channels promote diverse sourcing selection and that processes are free of bias and that selection decisions are based upon objective assessment criteria.
- Actively monitors the candidate application process to ensure the successful hire of best candidates to meet identified recruitment requirements for the business.
- Source, engage, and attract potential talents through the usage of Linked In Recruiter and other similar sourcing tools and strategies (i.e., market mapping, job boards, internal database, and professional networks).
- Supports and collaborates in continuous recruitment improvement/optimization projects.
- Provides an exemplary candidate experience – through regular and effective communication, follow-up, and feedback.
- Deliver talent acquisition outcomes which align with Subsea7’s global diversity and inclusion strategy.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of recruitment and selection internal policies as well as other market approaches which can be applied to the Subsea7 environment.
- Attend recruitment and industry events across to build Subsea7’s profile and attract talent.

- Tertiary or similar qualification in Human Resources or related Business Certificate.
- 5 years’ experience in a recruitment role, internal or external. Experience with offshore positions, particularly marine positions is preferable.
- Experience of dealing with high volume and fast paced recruitment requirements
- Experience of sourcing candidates internationally is desirable.
- Confident communicator, comfortable dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders and candidates across various levels, disciplines, and nationalities.
- Organised, with an ability to prioritise workload during periods of high volume, as well as conflicting and changing priorities.
- Experience using a variety of recruitment tools, e.g. Linked In Recruiter, with particular emphasis on proactive search techniques and candidate sourcing skills.
- Attention to detail and able to self-check work to ensure it is correct.
- Plan, coordinate and prioritize activities successfully to work individually and as part of a team environment.
