Regional Sales Manager - Southeast Asia & Korea

We are hiring a driven and passionate leader to push market growth as a Regional Sales Manager based in our Regional Headquarter in Singapore.
Job Responsibilities
- The Sales Manager is responsible for achievement of annual order entry and revenue targets within defined margin bandwidths.
- Actively drive all sales channel for continuous growth in business & market share by achieving agreed target & measures through operational excellence.
- Regularly analyze, propose, and coordinate sustainable targets and initiatives to develop all sales channels.
- Implement, lead, coordinate and actively manage the released business plan, including the introduction of new go-to market approaches in assigned region markets.
- Proactively take various measures to increase market share and enhancing brand recognition.
- Implement effective sales controlling processes at the industry and country levels.
- Gather and analyse customer insights according to their needs and environment by visiting existing and potential clients to develop sales strategy approaches for key accounts & opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with key decision-makers and influencers through active participation in networking events, meetings, and conferences.
- Continuously monitor competitor activities and evaluate market trends in close collaboration with the global market intelligence team.
- Understand the organizational structure and business approach of sales partners, providing advisory support on areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
- Liaise with sales channels to prepare forecasts, order entry plans, and offer strategic guidance for the region.
- Coordinate with regional sales channels to gather feedback on new product ideas, usability enhancements, and quality improvements.
- Lead and guide sales channels by implementing our defined sales strategies to manage leads, opportunities and close deals.
- Regularly assess team development needs and plan necessary training to enhance sales capabilities and provide premium customer consultation.
- Offer problem-solving and mentorship to the sales team in alignment with our leadership principles.
- Collaborate with department heads to achieve common goals of premium customer consultation and increased market share.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline with a post-graduate qualification in sales/marketing/international business.
- 7 to 10 years’ experience in sales, marketing & business development through different sales channels in the field of premium capital equipment preferably related to materials science.
- Experience in the Southeast Asia, Korea and/or Taiwan markets.
- Strong orientation towards customers & communication.
- Leading by example with proven international, intercultural, emotional & social competence.
- Able to apply and further grow agile work approaches in a high-performance environment.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence of stakeholders.
- Successful track-record to managing change management projects.
- Sets the right priorities, communicates pro-active, sustainably & solution-oriented.
- Strong presentation skills utilizing state-of-the art digital tools & technologies.
- Experience in a leading CRM system is preferred, especially Microsoft Dynamics or IFS Cloud.
- Proficiency in English language.
- 30% to 40% travel requirement within Asia, Germany and Austria.
