Resident Technical Officer (Tunnel)

- Support and assist the SRE/RE in all duties as directed by him
- Review all project drawings and specifications, and raise any discrepancies and/or possible problems before construction work commence on site and progressively throughout the entire course of the project
- Supervise the construction of Vehicular Flyovers/Vehicular Tunnels/MRT viaducts/MRT underground structures in compliance with the requirements of the Building and Construction Authority and other relevant Authorities' requirements and contract specifications.
- Supervise all civil, structural and geotechnical building related works, maintain quality control and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the project specifications, drawings, approved sketches, product or system specifications, contractor's method statements, installation and working procedures and site instruction
- Supervise the installation of instrumentation, review, evaluate and assess the monitoring of instrumentation and interpretation of the results and provide analytical results/presentations
- Ensure that work is carried out in compliance with Building Control Act and Regulations, Codes of Practices and requirement of building authorities and government agencies
- Assist to resolve all site issues, and report to the respective project consultants, supervising qualified person and appointed project manager
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent from Singapore Polytechnic or other tertiary institutions of equivalent
- Registered as Resident Technical Officer with BCA/IES/ACES
- Possess at least 5 years of site supervision experience.
