This role will be responsible for the Risk Management Oversight of Singapore and South East Asia, and report to the Regional Head of Risk Management, Asia Pacific Region (APR).

• Identify strategic, credit, financial, operational and reinsurance risks to which Coface is exposed with a consistent approach to the overall business strategy and develop/ implement precautions and revise current guidelines.

• Support the business in the Second Line of Defense to ensure the effectiveness of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework

• Ensure the companies are compliance with the local risk regulations and internal rules
  

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework is efficient and compliant with the risk management framework set out by the regulators and internal rules.

• Update/ Review and disseminate the local risk policies and standards on a regular basis / when required.

• Review the Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSA) program and conduct risk mapping. Track action plans and agreed control improvements.

• Oversee operational incidents to ensure that appropriate escalation takes place and mitigation are actioned

• Review and oversight the effectiveness of local Business Continuity Plan (BCP)

• Lead the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) process, review the quantitative solvency assessment provided by the Appointed Actuary with the internal stakeholders and prepare the regulatory ORSA submissions.

• Ensure quality and timely regulatory submission and internal risk reporting such as reporting to Risk Committee independently

• Other risk management activities and projects as and when required
  

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree holder or above with major in Risk Management, Actuarial Science, Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
  

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE:

• Sound knowledge in ORSA, MAS requirements on enterprise risk management framework

• Knowledge and experience in cybersecurity risks governance is a plus.
  

EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years’ solid experience in Risk Management/ Compliance / Audit, or related diciplines

• Previous exposures in insurance industry are highly preferred

• Hands-on experience on enterprise risk management tool

• Proficiency in MS applications
