RINA is currently recruiting for a Singapore Marine Junior Surveyor to join its office in Singapore within the Marine Asia Region Division.
Mission
A surveyor in a classification society plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety, compliance, and quality of ships and marine structures. The main responsibilities are aimed at verifying that vessels meet international and classification society standards.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum 3 years experience in the engineering or inspection/survey fields with an IACS member Classification Society
  • Proficiency in the English language commensurate with the scope of classification, statutory certification, related services and, before assignment, with their future work
  • Ability to understand engineering plans and have a basic knowledge of shipbuilding practices and ship operations
  • Knowledge of ships' engineering systems and machinery
  • Knowledge of related technical interfaces required for group project work
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
