Specialist/Senior Specialist (Project Management, Membership Services) (Migrant Workers’ Centre)

Set up in 2009, Migrant Workers’ Centre (MWC) is a non-governmental organisation whose mission is to champion fair employment practices and the well-being of migrant workers in Singapore, by pursuing four main pillars: Fairness, Assistance, Integration, and Representation.

Responsibilities:
- Develop event concepts, timelines, and budgets for various organisational events
- Communicate with vendors and service providers to ensure seamless execution of events
- Organise and manage logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, equipment rental, and attendee registration
- Work with marketing, communications, membership services, and IT to promote events and handle technology needs
- Support the administrative duties (procurement, correspondence, filing, records safekeeping; digitalisation of records, etc)

Any other adhoc project/tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in any relevant field.
- Experience in events and project management would be advantageous.
- Ability to converse and write in one of the migrant workers’ native languages will be a plus
- Customer-service oriented and enjoys meeting people
- Independent, self-motivated, with a desire to learn
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
- Able to work on weekends and after office hours
This role is primarily based at Migrant Workers' Centre Recreation Club (MWCRC@SL) at 51 Soon Lee Road, Singapore 628088
