Requirements :
- Develop and execute trading strategies across iron ore and metallurgical coal markets, managing onshore and offshore operations.
- Organize and manage business holdings, monitor brokerage accounts and monthly positions, and provide timely updates to the trading supervisor.
- Analyze industry data and trends, conduct thorough research, and prepare insightful reports.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities to drive growth.
- Manage risks and ensure strict compliance with international trade regulations, environmental standards, and industry policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations and improve trading efficiency.
- Monitor and report on market developments, keeping abreast of geopolitical and economic factors that impact trading. Participate in strategic planning sessions to align trading activities with broader business goals.
Requirements :
- Minimum 3-5 years in iron ore or commodity trading, with a successful profitable trading and market analysis track record
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or related fields.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin (liaise with Mandarin speaking associates).
- Willingness to travel and attend industry conferences.
