Role Overview
We are looking for a Treasury and Investment Intern to support and manage our company's financial operations and investment strategies. You will work closely with our finance team to support cash management, liquidity planning, and investment analysis. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about financial management and investment processes in a dynamic and supportive environment. For you to learn more about the business, you will also be involved in the operations of the business. We will show you the ropes.
The day-to-day activities
Accountancy and Treasury Responsibilities
1. Acquire Practical Experience in Financial Management
Gain hands-on experience in treasury management and investment analysis. Learn to handle cash management, liquidity planning, and investment strategies, while interacting with private banks and financial institutions to optimize financial operations.
2. Develop Skills in Financial Reporting and Analysis
Build expertise in financial reporting by participating in monthly account closings, bank reconciliations, and budgeting. Enhance your ability to analyze capital market products and contribute to informed investment decisions.
3. Gain Insight into Business Operations and Financial Practices
Understand various aspects of Alcotech’s business operations, from drug and alcohol testing to regulatory affairs. Apply your financial skills in a real-world setting, supporting operations and contributing to strategic financial planning and decision-making.

Salary: $800 - $1,300 monthly
We are looking for a Treasury and Investment Intern to support and manage our company's financial operations and investment strategies. You will work closely with our finance team to support cash management, liquidity planning, and investment analysis. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about financial management and investment processes in a dynamic and supportive environment. The day-to-day activities
Accountancy and Treasury Responsibilities

Engage in effective communication with private banks, funds, and other financial institutions to facilitate seamless transactions.

Attend meetings with private banks and funds to discuss financial strategies and investment opportunities.

Gather data on capital market products to support informed investment decisions and optimize portfolio performance.

Collaborate in the monthly closing of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), meticulously recording transactions to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Perform bank reconciliation to validate financial data and maintain precise records of cash flows.

Actively participate in budgeting exercises to support strategic financial planning initiatives.

Assist in the application process for government grants, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Contribute to monthly stock-taking exercises to monitor inventory levels and facilitate informed decision-making.

Prepare monthly payroll for approximately 10 employees, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

Learn about various aspects of the business operations, including Drug testing, Alcohol testing, Infectious Disease Kits, and Medical Device Regulatory Affairs.

Act as the frontline ambassador, handling customer inquiries via email and phone.

Collaborate with logistics partners to guarantee the safe handling and transfer of products.

Assist in the processing of government tenders, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Provide support in coordination and facilitation of drug testing sessions.

Tackle diverse operational tasks as they arise, playing a vital role in optimising the efficiency and effectiveness of our business.
