Job Title: Video Editor
Location: Singapore (Remote/On-site)


Job Summary:
AM Education is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality video content that enhances our educational programs and marketing efforts. This role involves editing raw footage into compelling and engaging videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and promotional materials. Proficiency in Mandarin is required.


Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, high-quality content.

• Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to produce educational videos, promotional videos, and other multimedia content.

• Incorporate graphics, special effects, and music to enhance video content.

• Ensure the final product aligns with the company’s brand guidelines and messaging.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Review and make revisions based on feedback from the team.

• Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new techniques into the video production process.

• Translate and edit Mandarin content to ensure accurate representation in videos.
  

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio.

• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Da Vinci Resolve).

• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and timing.

• Experience with motion graphics and animation (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is a plus.

• Knowledge of color correction, sound editing, and post-production processes.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Mandarin and English, with strong understanding of both languages.

• 3-5 years of experience in video editing or a related field.

• A degree or certification in Film, Video Production, Multimedia, or a related field is preferred.
  

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Experience in educational content production.

• Knowledge of social media video requirements and trends.

• Familiarity with audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition).

• Creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for continuous learning.
