DESIGNATION : Visual Journalist (Indonesia), CNA Digital (1-Year Contract)

RESPONSIBILITIES
CNA Digital is looking for a visual journalist to work with its correspondents based in Indonesia. The successful hire will primarily be responsible for photography and videography when the correspondents are in the field.
Responsibilities:

Work with correspondents during assignments to produce photos and/or videos that convey the story.
Support correspondents shooting pieces to camera, including setting up, lighting and sound.
Editing pictures and producing clear as well as attractive videos for social media. This will be done in conjunction with a visuals editorial team based in Singapore.
Understand social media trends and know how to produce engaging visual content.
There may be occasional independent reporting involved.

QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience in visual journalism.
Able to operate professional camera for photography and video.
Have the knowledge of using mobile phone or tablet for quick filming and upload direct to website.
Able to edit video material, sometime to tight deadlines.
Ability to operate a drone is a plus.
Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
This position will be based in Greater Jakarta.
