Job Description
CNA Digital is looking for a visual journalist to work with its correspondents based in Indonesia. The successful hire will primarily be responsible for photography and videography when the correspondents are in the field.
Responsibilities:
  • Work with correspondents during assignments to produce photos and/or videos that convey the story.
  • Support correspondents shooting pieces to camera, including setting up, lighting and sound.
  • Editing pictures and producing clear as well as attractive videos for social media. This will be done in conjunction with a visuals editorial team based in Singapore.
  • Understand social media trends and know how to produce engaging visual content.
  • There may be occasional independent reporting involved.
Qualifications
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in visual journalism.
  • Able to operate professional camera for photography and video.
  • Have the knowledge of using mobile phone or tablet for quick filming and upload direct to website.
  • Able to edit video material, sometime to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to operate a drone is a plus.
  • Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • This position will be based in Greater Jakarta.
Skills
Able to operate professional camera for photography and video.
