Electrical Engineer (Pr Tech or Pr Eng)
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer who is registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a Pr Tech or Pr Eng. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in road construction and/or rehabilitation. This role requires a proactive individual with
strong technical expertise and a commitment to excellence.
The following are the minimum requirements:

• Electrical Engineering (Ndip / Btech degree) Qualification
• Registered with ECSA as (Pr Tech) or (Pr Eng)
• Safety training
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in asphalt road construction in National, Provincial and Airport roads
• Computer literate
• Evaluation, analysing and decision making skills

Skills and Competencies required

• Design, implement, and oversee electrical systems and installations for road construction and rehabilitation projects.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize project outcomes and address any technical challenges.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project proposals.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
• Problem solving skills
• Team management
• Be practical
