Electrical Engineer (Pr Tech or Pr Eng)
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer who is registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a Pr Tech or Pr Eng. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in road construction and/or rehabilitation. This role requires a proactive individual with
strong technical expertise and a commitment to excellence.
The following are the minimum requirements:

Electrical Engineering (Ndip / Btech degree) Qualification
Registered with ECSA as (Pr Tech) or (Pr Eng)
Safety training
Minimum 5 years’ experience in asphalt road construction in National, Provincial and Airport roads
Computer literate
Evaluation, analysing and decision making skills

Skills and Competencies required

Design, implement, and oversee electrical systems and installations for road construction and rehabilitation projects.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications.
Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize project outcomes and address any technical challenges.
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project proposals.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
Problem solving skills
Team management
Be practical
