The Four Seasons Resort Mallorca is perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and backed by panoramic vistas of the Mediterranean and the surrounding landscapes, the hotel was originally opened in 1929 within an expansive private estate. Currently undergoing restoration and renovation, this stunning historic property is scheduled to open its doors as a Four Seasons resort in June 2024.

About the role

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the beverage operations, ensuring high-quality service and product offerings.

• Develop and implement beverage menus, pricing strategies, and promotions.

• Manage inventory, ordering, and control of beverage supplies to optimize costs.

• Train and supervise staff on beverage service standards and product knowledge.

• Monitor guest feedback and sales trends to enhance the beverage program and guest experience.

Our Ideal Beverage Manager candidate will have:

• Extensive Knowledge of Beverages : In-depth understanding of various beverages, including wines, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as current beverage trends.

• Leadership Skills : Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively, including training, mentoring, and motivating staff to ensure excellent service standards.

• Strong Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with guests, vendors, and team members professionally and effectively.

• Financial Acumen : Experience in budgeting, cost control, and pricing strategies to maximize profitability and manage inventory efficiently.

• Customer Service Orientation : A strong focus on providing exceptional guest experiences through personalized service and product knowledge.

• Creativity and Innovation : Ability to create and develop new beverage menus and signature cocktails that align with market trends and guest preferences.

• Problem-Solving Skills : Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges and guest concerns effectively.

• Attention to Detail : High level of accuracy in managing beverage inventory, ordering, and quality control to ensure consistency and high standards.

• Experience in the Hospitality Industry : Previous experience in a food and beverage management role, preferably in a luxury or upscale environment.

• Regulatory Knowledge : Familiarity with local laws and regulations regarding alcohol service and safety, including responsible serving practices.
