PTC Group is recruiting for a client company in the sustainable fish farming sector, focused on opportunities in logistics, distribution and aquaculture.
Mission
Guaranteeing with an integral and multidisciplinary approach the civil design necessary for the correct development of the projects ensuring the new facilities comply with the company strategy related to the expansion and innovation (Execute the companys growth plan and Test innovative ways of farming) in the area of responsibility for each department.

Mission
Guaranteeing with an integral and multidisciplinary approach the civil design necessary for the correct development of the projects ensuring the new facilities comply with the company strategy related to the expansion and innovation (Execute the companys growth plan and Test innovative ways of farming) in the area of responsibility for each department.
Main objectives
- Ensure the civil design of projects complies with the goals (Schedule, Cost, Scope, and Quality) and specifications defined for each project.
- To guarantee compliance with the regulations in the installation projects carried out.
- Identify needs of improvement and propose innovative ways to resolve it.
- Work in a collaborative way with all areas involved in the expansion and innovation projects.
- Define all tests or trials related with civil design to validate innovative ideas in coordination with Functional Design Supervisors.
- Respect the work instructions that apply to your position according to the Quality and Environment System.
Tasks
- Design of civil work (earthworks, foundations, concrete, metallic and plastic structures,) complying with the goals (Schedule, Cost, Scope, and Quality) and specifications defined for each project - 40% of the time.
- Sourcing and negotiation with external suppliers, selection, and purchase of equipment, with administrative support from other members of the team - 15% of the time.
- Identify needs of improvement and propose innovative ways to resolve it - 20% of the time.
- Coordinate the monitoring on site for all the test or trials related with installations - 5% of the time.
- Coordinate follow up and conclusion reports for the trials and tests - 15% of the time.
- Assure correct communication with all members of the team and parties involved - 5% of the time.
Job profile
Training and Education
- University degree in Civil works, engineering building or industrial engineering, specializing in mechanics.
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in civil design
- 1-2 years of Project management
- At least 2 years in in-field experience
Specific abilities and skills
- Medium-high level of spanish and english (profesional conversation).
- Multidisciplinary teams work skills
- Project management
- Analitic and critical Mindset
- Auto CAD proficient user
- Excel proficient user
- Presto proficient user
- BIM software user (Autodesk Revit, Cype CAD)
