Electrical Engineering Technician (Data Centers) , Data Center Engineering Operations

This position requires frequent site interventions, critical switching activities, along with troubleshooting and fixing infrastructure issues. The role would suit someone who enjoys working in a ‘hands on’ capacity on Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) infrastructure such as diesel generators, MV/LV switchgear, UPS’s, PDU’s, Pumps, AHU’s, fire detection systems and building automation systems.
On a daily basis you work semi-autonomously in operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in data center ensuring all safety procedures are adhered to while performing work. You draft, update & maintain method statements, standard operating procedures, emergency response procedures, preventive maintenance programs, and all technical documentation pertaining to Operation department enabling the organization to delivering 100% up-time on all customer supporting infrastructure
Collaborating effectively with internal & external stakeholders to deliver operational excellence for all AWS.

Basic Qualifications
- CFGS / FPII Electromechanical maintenance, power plants, electrical installations, renewable energies.
- At least 2 years of “hands-on” experience maintaining electrical distribution equipment at Data Center facilities / or Mission Critical Plants/ Power plants.
- Ability to draft accurate support procedures, compile system documentation, and issue tracking entries while taking full ownership of technical issues.
- B1 English level
- Driving license valid in Spain and willing to travel between data center sites.
- +4 years of experience leading and managing operations of critical facilities which require in-depth knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
- Solid IT skills; experience and knowledge of MS Office suite.
- Knowledge of backup generator systems
