The Challenge
As an Enforcement Specialist your mission will be to enhance the safety and reliability of Wallapop as a trusted platform. As an integral member of the Trust and Safety team, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the platform's integrity by safeguarding transactions and ensuring the quality of users and the entire catalog. You will enforce compliance with policies and quality standards, fostering trust and confidence within our community.
What You Will Do
Do note that all our jobs are Barcelona based.We work in a hybrid model, we offer a flexible work environment where regular office attendance is expected for which the frequency is determined at a team level.

What does the hiring process for this position look like? **Please, note that all interviews take place remotely over hangouts.**
Intro Call - run by talent acquisition, focus on providing more information about the role and the company as well as going over your experience, motivation, and expectations. This usually takes 45-60 minutes.
Case Study Submission - you will be assigned a task to submit within 5 up to 7 days where you will be able to showcase your expertise / technical skills required for the role.
Expertise Interview - run by the hiring team, focus on the required core skills and the ability to deliver in a given context. This usually takes 60-90 minutes.
Stakeholder Interview - run by relevant stakeholders reflecting the reality of the context of the role, focus on the ability to collaborate & deliver in a cross-functional set-up. This usually takes 60 minutes.
Culture Interview - run by culture interviewers, focus on adherence to Wallapop's purpose and business proposition. This usually takes 60 minutes.
Offer - should you be the right candidate, your offer will be discussed over a call with talent acquisition and will then be confirmed in writing.

What You Will Do
- Quality Standard Enforcement : Ensure sellers and their products meet established quality standards to enhance customer satisfaction and trust.
- Catalog Moderation: Oversee the international product catalog to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with safety policies.
- Features and Tools Enhancement: Identify and propose opportunities for enhancing operational tools and safety features to improve internal processes that support customer experience.
- Data Analysis: Analyze trends and patterns to inform decision-making and identify areas for strategic improvement.
- Quality Reports: Prepare quality reports and improvement plans to ensure the accurate and timely enforcement of users, items and transactions.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional internal teams to define and refine policies that support quality standards and operational efficiency. In the external site, develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors ensuring compliance with quality standards and fostering collaborative improvements.
- Transaction Monitoring and Customer Support: Proactively monitor transactions to prevent losses and fraud, while facilitating timely customer compensation and appeal processes to maintain high service levels.
- Data driven, making assessments and solving problems using data.
- Strong practical experience with Excel and SQL.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a similar discipline within the technology domain
- Fluent in both English and Spanish.
- Prior experience in fraud monitoring and quality standard enforcement, demonstrating your ability to identify and address compliance issues effectively.
- Excel in management and possess exceptional communication abilities, allowing you to lead teams and engage effectively with stakeholders.
