Sulzer is looking for a highly skilled frontend developer with a strong background in Angular and SAP Spartacus to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating intuitive, responsive, and dynamic user interfaces that enhance user experience. This role requires a detailed-oriented professional who can collaborate effectively with design and backend teams to deliver seamless and visually appealing applications.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Design and implement user interface components using Angular.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design mockups into functional user interfaces.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Maintain and improve existing codebases.
- Implement front-end development best practices.
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure the robustness and performance of applications.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in front-end development and Angular.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 6+ years experience as a Frontend Developer.
- Strong proficiency in SAP Spartacus angular framework
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, Java Script, and Type Script.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience working with SAP Cloud Commerce.
- Experience with other Java Script frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js).
- Knowledge of front-end build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, npm).
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Jasmine, Karma, Protractor).
- Understanding of SEO principles and ensuring applications adhere to them.
- Experience with UI/UX design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD).
