Overview of the recruiting division:
The Institutional Client Group (ICG) for Debt manages the Bank's relationships with institutional investors across the full Debt product spectrum. ICG Debt combines the global capabilities of Deutsche Bank with regional expertise on five continents.
Overview of the team:
GCT Coverage Group are specialized sales forces that originate and distribute, respectively, securitized products and work closely with clients on secondary trades as well as highly structured credit transactions.
With leading market shares in nearly every product and region, the success relies on factors such as anticipating the impact of market and regulatory changes to clients’ business, and leveraging the Bank’s product, research and structuring expertise to offer tailor-made solutions which are customized to meet the specific requirements of each individual client.
Your responsibilities:
- Proactively driving sales coverage of GCT products to Spain based clients, across illiquid and liquid products.
- Interacting with Trading on the GCT product suite, leveraging the success of the cash and solutions franchise to help increase our market share
- Partnering with GCT trading and structuring, as well as other sales colleagues within the team and within the product
- Acting as the GCT “product champion” and person to go to for the Spain team, and acting as the GCT Coverage Spain “ambassador” in Madrid
- Advising on clearing, collateral/derivatives-documentation Helping with the development of more junior team members

- Strong command of English language (apart from Spanish)
- Extensive knowledge of the Fixed Income market and profound skills in structured products
- A strong sense of how macroeconomic developments, be they slow moving or instantaneous, which are beneficially for the largest sophisticated investors
- Proven track record covering this client segment
- Deep knowledge across this product base (including their derivatives)
- Entrepreneurial skills to prioritize resources to maximize outcome and value for client
- Comfortable in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Able to demonstrate the ability to navigate complex organizations
- Advanced with respect to quantitative skills and have the ability to interpret business and economic data and assess the implications of both with regards to client requirements
- Driven and dedicated to help the team succeed
