MISSION:
Ensure legal advice to support the development of activities and projects, finding innovative solutions and ensuring an adequate assessment of legal risks to support the development of BNPL business (‘buy now pay later’). Support in the relationship with the Supervisory Authorities.
MAIN TASKS:
Madrid or Porto (no support measures) with a willingness to move to France and to Spain or Portugal.

PERSONAL FINANCE
BNP Paribas Personal Finance, through its brand Cetelem, specialises in consumer credit, personal loans and card management. ABOUT THE JOB
MISSION:
Ensure legal advice to support the development of activities and projects, finding innovative solutions and ensuring an adequate assessment of legal risks to support the development of BNPL business (‘buy now pay later’). Support in the relationship with the Supervisory Authorities.
MAIN TASKS:
Contractual consultancy (including drafting, review and negotiation) for B2B contracts and support in relation with suppliers/partners.
Regulatory watch activities with reference to the applicable Spanish and Portuguese legislations, regulatory legal advice in relation with Spanish and Portuguese regulators (Bank of Spain, Bank of Portugal, Data Protection Authorities, etc.), support in the implementation of the Spanish and Portuguese legislations applicable to B2C contracts, including the implementation of Directive 2023/2225/EU, and support for specific legal issues related to the Spanish and Portuguese regulations /laws applicable within the scope of BNPL activities.
Regulatory legal support regarding any new BNPL products, processes and procedures.
Support in the most important or difficult complaints filed by FLOA customers in Spain and Portugal.
Legal advice on the validation of advertisings and/or any customer communications.
Support on any legal matters - within the Legal Group Charter perimeter - that could occur and that would be necessary for the conduct of BNPL activities.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Degree in law
Preferable passing of the bar exam or legal practice
Total work experience min 8 years
