Responsabilities

• Control over the performance of the Loss Ratio in the Brokers train.
• Collaboration with the train team and the commercial team to generate, prioritize, and implement a feature backlog.
• Conduct segmentation analysis and formulate pricing models.
• Monitor rate change performance.
• Evaluate the risk associated with train features.
• Conduct competitive analysis and stay informed of market trends and industry developments.
• Lead and develop the pricing team.
• Coordinate with International Pricing for rate change approval and Loss Ratio strategy.

Technical Skills

• Analytical skills: Ability to interpret financial and operational metrics and make data-driven decisions. Strong mathematical skills are a plus.
• Knowledge of the Broker Market: Understanding of best practices of competitors in the intermediaries market in terms of risk selection and services.
• Business acumen: Solid understanding of business processes and the insurance value chain.
• Knowledge of SAFe, Lean, and Agile methodologies, as well as portfolio management tools.

Personal Skills

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to executives.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to develop and guide a high-performing team in the pricing and underwriting function.

Requirements
Nice to have

• Conocimientos en bases de datos, lenguaje SQL y en programación, preferiblemente Python o SAS.
• Conocimientos en programas de análisis y visualización de datos, preferiblemente Micro Strategy.
• Nivel alto de inglés (B2, C1)
