Amazon is hiring a Procurement buyer for Proactive tail team to be based in our corporate offices in Barcelona. As member of Procurement Shared Services team you support the EU procurement and business teams by delivering operational purchasing tasks and assignments. This role will report to the Proactive tail Manager.

Main scope: To provide spend intelligence and sourcing support to GPO projects in alignment to Category Strategy. This includes running low-medium RFQs, track projects with Category, analysis of spend, communication with internal and external stakeholders with the purpose to eliminate tail and find savings opportunities.

Key job responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Process Proactive tail projects
• Source low-medium complex projects (RFQs)
• Point of contact for some internal stakeholders and external (vendors/manufacturers)
• Set up and Category and SPO relationship
• Work in full compliance with the company Spending and Transaction policy.
• Support Kaizen and continuous improvement projects
• Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships with our internal customers and suppliers
• Ensure alignment to all procurement processes & operations
• Participate in cross-functional improvement projects
• Utilize multiple databases and systems to deliver accurate metrics, reporting and analytics to measure effectiveness of team performance
• Train employees of the GPSS as well as other stakeholders
• Prioritize requirements, highlight any missing information and risks to business and challenge for clarification in time

Preferred qualifications:

• Ability to make effective escalation decision
• Able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment, good time management.
• Strong analytical skills (i.e. macros, Power BI)
