The CBRE Data Center Solutions delivers fully converged real estate, facilities and technology solutions for data center owners, occupiers, operators and investors across the globe. As a dedicated business line within CBRE, we are committed to solving complex challenges within every stage of the data center and digital infrastructure lifecycle.

The Data Center team in Iberia (Spain and Portugal) with a dynamic and entrepreneur mindset is expanding and we are looking for a Senior Consultant.

The selected candidate will play a key role in growing the vertically integrated Data Center team. You will support growth of our DC business. Even though the main responsibilities of the position will be primarily to manage and execute Investment Property transactions (Asset Disposal, Sale and Leaseback, Site Selection), the selected professional will actively need to contribute to the development of other data center business lines: Strategic Consulting, ESG, Project Management, Facility Management, Investment Banking, Debt & Structured Finance, Valuations (RICS & ECO), Research and Digital Intelligence.


FUNCTIONS:
Manage the execution of:

• Commercial activities (Pitch) and proposal for engagements
• Information Memorandum/ Market Presentations
• Financial Modelling of potential developments (Infra, Energy and Data Center)
• Complete Due Diligence process and coordinate external collaborators
• Team coordination across diverse geographies and products
• Research, Marketing and Thought Leadership activities

Additionally, the chosen professional would need to cast the following skills:

• Business Development activities to further consolidate Data Center business
• Market expansion through the product and sector diversification (Infra & Energy knowledge is a valuable plus)
• Analysis and Monitoring of the market trends and future developments
• The vertical integration of the Data Center practice in Iberia

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2-4 years of professional experience in Investment Banking, M&A, valuation, Real Estate Advisory or Infra Funds, Management Strategy Consulting. Alternatively, Transactions Advisory Services professionals from big four firms will be considered.
• Experience in the Data Center sector is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, engineering; MBA is a plus
• Fluent in Spanish and English. Knowledge of any other language is a plus (French, Portuguese, German)
• Advanced level with the Office 365 Pack given the daily use of Excel, Power Point and Word.
